Being a service provider isn’t easy; we get it. That’s one of the reasons why Acronis looks for innovative ways to help you simplify your processes so that you can deliver cyber protection to your clients in an easy, efficient, and secure way.
One thing we never want to do is put your clients’ security at risk, which is why Acronis Cyber Cloud has recently moved to monthly releases. This approach ensures they are always be protected from the latest cyber threats – while giving you access to high-demand features and functionalities that help you better protect your clients.
In the August release, we introduced new features and changes to our pricing, licensing, and editions to make it even easier for you to deliver cyber protection to your clients.
Our new, notable changes
August brought a lot of new exciting changes to the Acronis Cyber Cloud. We introduced a new edition of Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud for workloads that don’t need backup. And we added exploit prevention to our growing list of protection features.
Here’s a list of our most notable changes:
Acronis Cyber Protect Essentials Edition
Every workload is different, but every workload needs cyber protection whether it stores business-critical data or nothing at all. With Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud Essentials Edition, you can finally protect client workloads that don’t need to be backed up but still require bullet-proof cyber protection capabilities — such as advanced antimalware and antivirus, URL filtering, vulnerability assessments, patch management, and remote desktop. To consider which option might fit your clients’ requirements best, check out our edition comparison here.
Exploit prevention
Until a patch is applied, your clients’ machines are vulnerable. With exploit prevention, you can stop and prevent attacks from happening with memory protection, return-oriented programming protection, code injection protection, and privilege escalation protection. URL filtering widget report
Simplify the management for your administrators with an easy to read URL filtering report. A quick glance lets you see a static list of URL categories and the number of items that were detected in the defined period of time. Start a free 30-day trial of the Acronis Cyber Cloud to see our widgets and reporting functionalities.
Read-only role for disaster recovery
Better secure your internal operations with a read-only role for Acronis Cyber Disaster Recovery Cloud. With this additional user permission, you can have technicians monitor and manage the account without granting them permission to make changes within accounts. Acronis Cyber Protect Editions Include Acronis Hosted Storage
To make it even easier for you to offer your clients complete cyber protection, we have included free Acronis Hosted Storage in our Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud editions. The amount of storage included varies depending on the edition and the workload you are supporting. For example, a server that is protected with Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud Advanced has 175GB of free storage, whereas a workstation using the Advanced edition has 75GB of storage. For more information, check out the edition comparison.
Keeping your clients safe while helping you do business more efficiently is our top priority. With these changes to our pricing and licensing structure, it is even easier for you to provide the cyber protection capabilities your clients need.
